Telangana, especially Hyderabad, is reporting the highest number of dengue cases for some days.Two people died in the Bhadradri Kottagudem district due to dengue.

One of the deceased patients was a one-year-old baby.Eshwar (1), son of Panuganti Venkanna of Urban Colony in Dammapeta Mandal, was initially treated locally for fever for two days.

However, as to no avail, he was later taken to a hospital in Sattupalli.

The doctors who examined him confirmed that it was dengue.

He was admitted to a private hospital in Buttaigudem, West Godavari district in AP.He was brought to Dammapet on Monday after he slightly recovered from fever.

However, the baby boy died on the way to the hospital after a sudden onset of fever.When asked for an explanation, the PHC doctor Sriharsha said that there is a surge of viral and dengue fevers in Telangana.

Also, he said that people would not die in a single day if they diagnose dengue.He said that the boy should be examined for the actual cause of death.

Also, Panuganti Nageswara Rao (51) of Allapalli Mandal was admitted to a private hospital in Khammam by his family members due to dengue fever.He died on Tuesday.
