“Earlier we did not have the structure of mentorship programme for talents. We did not previously have a mentorship program for talent.

But now as things are evolving, in last one year, the way the gates opened for every kind of story and the audience evolved, I think this is the time for all the talent to find that bridge through such initiative to exchange thoughts, build the network and get good mentorship. As things have changed, and as the doors are now open for any kind of story, and the audience has evolved over the last year, I believe this is the right time to help all talent build a network, exchange ideas, and receive mentorship. And it is not just about filmmaking, storytelling but there are other categories like music composing, costume designing, gaming etc,” she said. It’s not only about storytelling, but also music composition, costumes designing and gaming,” she stated.

Asked about the best way of pitching a story to get it made, she said, ” Well, storytelling is all about perspective and liking a story is quite subjective. When asked about how to pitch a story, she replied, “Well, storytelling is all in perspective. And liking a story can be subjective.” So, when you pitch a story, some people would like it, some won’t.When you tell a story to someone, it is likely that they will like it.But in both cases, do not judge yourself all the time.In both instances, don’t judge yourself.

“At times, it also happens that after the successful phase in their career, in the middle, when they go through a rough patch, people start judging their potential.

Sometimes, after a successful career phase, some people begin to doubt their abilities.Since mentorship also builds a certain kind of confidence in you, it becomes much needed to get the breakthrough.

Mentorship builds confidence and helps you get to the top.I think there, the programme also holds a relevance.”.The programme is also relevant, I believe.”
