Women who quit their job are eligible for the ‘Back to work’ scheme in R’than

Jaipur, Nov 30, : Rajasthan’s government has created a scheme called “Back to Work” for women who have quit their jobs to care for their families after marriage.An official confirmed that Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot approved the scheme on Tuesday.
Women who have lost their job will be offered work again or the chance to work from home by the private sector.

This scheme has a target to provide 15,000 jobs for women over the next three-years.

Priority will be given for widows, abandoned, divorcées, and victims of violence.Women who are unable to travel to work will have the option to ‘Work from home’.

The Directorate of Women Empowerment will develop the Single Window System to offer employment opportunities for women who are interested to return to work.

RKCL will also provide skill training.

The portal of partner agencies/CSR organizations will invite applications from the target group of women.

The CSR organisation will link the women to employment in the private sector based on the category-wise database of women who have registered on the online portal.

If required, the training facility for re-skilling/up-skilling will also be provided to the targeted category women registered on the online portal.The portal will allow for the updating of the information.

The scheme will be implemented by a monitoring committee.

It is notable that Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot made an announcement about ‘Back to Work” scheme during his reply to the Finance and Appropriation Bill in the Budget 2021-22.
