By Arshad Afzaal Kan Ayodhya Dec 5, : Security forces in Ayodhya are on high alert to mark the 30th anniversary of Babri’s demolition.To monitor any development occurring on December 6, the administration has set up a special control room at the district magistrate’s office.
The Ayodhya Temple Town and District have been divided into multiple security zones.Forces have been deployed to sensitive points.
All magistrates were instructed to monitor all developments in Faizabad and Ayodhya around the clock.
The Muslim community of Ayodhya that used to observe “Black Day” on every anniversary of the demolition has decided to stop doing so this year.
Haji Asad Ahmed, a Muslim leader, and Ayodhya Corporator, stated, “Now after the Ayodhya decision that has given the Babri Massjid land for Ram Temple, we want to create an atmosphere of peace and brotherhood with our Hindu sisters and brothers, so we decided to not hold any such program but, there will be recitations of holy Quran at all mosques in Ayodhya, Faizabad, and we will pray to the Almighty for brotherhood and for peace and for brotherhood.”
The Ayodhya police continues to conduct mock drills in the temple city, while the special armed teams are conducting security drills to plug any security loopholes.
Ayodhya Security Patrol Officer Shailesh Pandey stated to IANS that they are always on alert for security emergencies and conduct security drills as necessary to keep their forces alert.We are extremely vigilant, keeping in mind December 6.
