Amid the entertaining IPL, Cricket fraternity has witnessed a great loss on Friday.

Former Australia cricketer Dean Jones has passed away following a cardiac arrest, at the age of 59.He was in Mumbai as a part of IPL official broadcaster’s commentary panel.Dean Jones had played 52 Tests scoring 3631 runs which contain 11 centuries.In ODIs, he scored 6063 runs in 164 One Day Internationals with 7 centuries and 46 fifties.

In modern times, Dean Jones is very well known for his commentary as well.Especially, when a dashing batsman like Virender Sehwag bats, his voice adds more electrifying rhythm to the raining sixes and fours.

If his batting is considered, he was famous for his powerful 210 in the tied Test in Madras in 1986-87, where he didn’t care about his severe illness.
