Sydney, January 1, : .Filip Krajinovic served double duty at ATP Cup on Saturday to lead Serbia to a 2-1 win against Norway in Group B in Sydney.
World No.The World No.42 team up with Nikola Cacic and Viktor Durasovic to defeat Casper Ruud, Viktor Durasovic 7-6(3), 6-3 in decisive doubles rubber. Krajinovic stated that it was an incredible point in the final.

Krajinovic won the opening match at Ken Rosewall Arena.He had overcome a set in the second to make Serbia lead 1-0.Krajinovic defeated Durasovic 7-5, 6-2 to win his first victory of the season.
World No.The World No.42 was making his ATP Cup Singles debut.He led with a set, a break, and hit consistent.Durasovic suffered from errors when he returned his backhand with incredible depth.
Krajinovic was 4-2 up in the second set.However, he lost 3 consecutive games before regaining his concentration to win against World No.345 after 73 minutes.He broke four times, and won 79.3% (27/34) his first-serve points on his way to victory.
Ruud saw through a determined performance by Dusan Lejovic and defeated him 6-3, 7-5, to tie the score at 1-1.
In his debut match, the 23-year old quickly returned to his best form, playing for long periods of time.He had to persevere, as Lajovic rallied twice from a break in the second set before finally falling in Sydney after an hour and forty minutes.
Ruud seemed to be running around with his forehand, and Lajovic was aiming at Lajovic’s backhand as he pinched the Serbian from behind the baseline.The match ended at 5-4 with Ruud losing two match points.
However, the Norwegian held serve to win despite being unable to serve.
World No.The World No.8 singles player is currently the highest-ranked in Group A.He is his second ATP Cup appearance after winning against Fabio Fognini and John Isner on debut in 2020.
