Heavy and incessant rains are causing havoc in Uttarakhand.Due to the Heavy rains, Uttarakhand has been inundated in floodwaters.

However, 46 people have lost their lives due to this effect.Another 11 people are missing in the Floods.

The security forces are carrying out relief operations for them.According to official government figures, the number of dead is likely to increase.

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami visited the worst affected areas.He asked the officials for details on the situation in various affected parts of the state.

Also, he has inquired about arrangements made to evacuate people to safer areas.Authorities were ordered to provide them with necessities, food and shelter.

CM Pushkar Dhami said the Floods resulted in severe property and human loss.He said the damage was severe as severe Floods hit many parts of the state.

Currently, Rs 10 crore has been temporarily released for flood relief operations, said Uttarakhand CM.

The Indian Meteorological Department forecast rain today in the state of Uttarakhand.Uttarakhand received record rainfall this week, which has become the major reason for massive flooding.Landslides are also reported in many parts of the state.
