“Pretty crazy. It’s all gone according to plan so far.Cummins was “really proud of all the men” during a chat with BT Sports, as the rain halted the proceedings.

Cummins stated that he was going to have a bat after losing the toss.I was not upset, and we made the most out of it.”

Cummins said that the pitch was typical Gabba. It’s a little soft.On Day 1, you’re always in the game. The ball became a little softer after lunch, but it got faster. It’s a fairly standard Gabba wicket.

The 28-year old was happy for Mitchell Starc’s success.Starc had a fantastic start to the Ashes by bowling Rory Burns around his legs with the first ball of the series.

“Really happy for his, he really held on to the attack together.

Cummins said that his body was fine after his spell and signed off.”I feel like Joe Root has been a good bowler in the past.I thought I’d give it a try.The body felt good.I’ve been bowling better and haven’t received as many rewards.I kept it tight and got up there.
