Chennai, Dec 8, 2008 : Actor Arun VIjay announced that he is now doing dubbing for his film “Yaanai” directed by Hari, a well-known director who is a pro at delivering entertainers with commercial elements. Arun Vijay posted a photo of himself dubbed for the film on social networking.
Radhika Sarathkumar, actress, had just announced that she was done dubbing for her parts in the film.
Sources close to the film’s unit claim that Yaanai is a story set within a rural setting.
The film stars Priya Bhavani Shahkar as the lead actress and is primarily targeted at ‘B’ and ‘C’ centre audiences.
In one of his interviews with the media, actor Arun Vijay revealed that the film was titled “Yaanai” (which in Tamil means “Elephant”) because the protagonist of the film seeks out to protect his family, just as elephants protect their environment and family.
The actor also revealed that ‘Yaanai” would be his first rural script after a period of almost twelve years.
