Mumbai, Aug 8 : Major D.P.Singh who is retired Indian Army officer and Kargil War veteran who is also the first Indian blade runner to have joined Aamir Khan on the hot seat of “KBC 14”.He spoke about his time in Kargil and revealed the fact that he still had 73 fragments in his body. He states: “We can never win anything with the help of a war.There always will be losses as a result of it.Some lose their husbands, sons or brothers, and others lose limbs, like me.I have 73 fragments in my body, and all of these came into my front, because I was moving towards the enemy, rather than away from them.”
The whole audience was applauding and the room became reverberating with the”Bharat Mata Ki Jai” chant.of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai”.Major Singh added: “A true soldier fights for his country.”
Then later, the Major and Aamir Khan took part in an hour of the game show.Aamir was awarded the sum of Rs 50 lakh.However, he then decided to play the second lifeline 50:50 for the question of Rs 50 lakh.However, he was unable to continue playing because the time had expired.
