The 2014 romantic thriller ‘Ek Villain’ which had Sidharth Malhotra, Shraddha Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh in lead roles, was one of the biggest super hits of the year which collected above 100 crores.Mohit Suri directed the film and almost after 6 years, Mohit is now doing a sequel of this film. The sequel was announced before the lockdown with John Abraham, Aditya Roy Kapur, Disha Patani, and Tara Sutaria in lead roles which is being bankrolled by Ekta Kapoor and Bhushan Kumar.But recently Aditya Roy Kapur has walked out of the project owing to creative differences over the script.
Now the latest update is that another young actor Arjun Kapoor has replaced Aditya Roy Kapur in this much-awaited sequel.Reports suggest that Arjun’s role will have a few negative shades in the film.The film is said to be the story about the fight between bad versus worse and in other words a tale of villain versus villain.
