Apple’s AR headset will have ‘Mac-level power’

San Francisco, Nov 26th : Apple is developing the most advanced chips for its unannounced AR/VR headset.A new report claims that the headset will feature two processors with the same computing power as M1.The lower-end chip will handle input from different sensors.
According to Ming-chi Kuo (an Apple analyst), the headset could include at least six-eight optical module to simultaneously provide continuous video-through AR services.

Sony claims that the device also has two OLED micro displays with 4K resolution.

The analyst pointed out that creating a mixed-reality or virtual headset is more difficult than creating products like the iPhone 13.

He stated that he expected Apple’s headset will lead the “next wave in user interface revolution” and change market consensus about AR/VR devices being primarily for gaming.

The Apple headset will look similar to the Oculus Quest.Some prototypes have external cameras that enable AR features.

It could include at least 15 camera modules, eye tracking, or iris recognition.It could cost between $2,000 to $3,000.

The AR headset will be sleek and lightweight, allowing the wearer to move around for extended periods of time.

The device is expected to have a high resolution display that allows users to read small pieces of text and see other people at the same time.
