The severity of the second wave of coronavirus is declining in Andhra Pradesh.Against this backdrop, recently, the Andhra Pradesh state government shortened the curfew timings in all the districts in the state except the Godavari districts.
The number of cases registering is declining steadily in AP.
In the last 24 hours, 83,885 samples were tested out of which 3,166 people tested corona positive.With this, the number of positive cases in the state has reached over 19 lakhs.4,019 people discharged from hospitals in the last 24 hours.
With this, the number of people who recovered from Covid crossed 18 lakhs in AP.According to the AP Health Health Bulletin, 664 cases were registered in East Godavari district, 337 cases in Chittoor and 375 cases in Prakasam districts.
Also, in the last 24 hours, 21 people died while receiving treatment for coronavirus.With this, the total death toll reached 12,919.
Four corona victims died in Chittoor, four in East Godavari, two deaths each in Anantapur, Guntur, West Godavari and Krishna districts.
One corona victim died each in Srikakulam and Visakhapatnam.
According to the Health Bulletin, currently, there are 33,356 active cases across the state.
