White fungus is causing a stir in the Kurnool district.Doctors have identified that Sheikh Basha from the Kurnool district was infected with white fungus in the groin area.
The victim was immediately shifted to Kurnool GGH for treatment.People are panicking over the increase in white fungus cases in the district.
It is learned that Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has directed the authorities to make efforts to make injections and tablets available in the wake of black and white fungus in the state.The CM on Monday conducted a review on coronavirus, black fungus, medical treatment for victims, oxygen supply and stocks.
According to the Times of India reports, currently, there are 1179 black fungus cases in the state, of which 1068 are being treated and 97 have been cured, officials told the chief minister.So far, 14 deaths were reported.
Doctors reported that people who have not diagnosed with covid are also getting attacked by black fungus.People with diabetes are having high chances of getting attacked by black fungus.
CM Jagan directed the authorities to make efforts to make the necessary injections and tablets available to those infected with black fungus and white fungus.
