Andhra Pradesh reports 1010 new covid positive cases in the last 24 hours.According to the health bulletin released by the state medical health department, there is a slight increase in the number of positive cases being reported in Andhra Pradesh.
With this, the number of people infected with the virus in Andhra Pradesh has reached 20,50,324.In the last 24 hours, thirteen people died in AP due to Covid-19.
With the figures in the latest reports, the total number of deaths due to the virus in AP reached 14,176.
On the other hand, 1,149 people recovered from the corona in the last 24 hours.
This brings the total number of discharges in AP to 20,24,645.In the last 24 hours, 58,054 samples have been tested.
Currently, 11,503 people are being treated at various hospitals in AP.
Chittoor district had the highest number of 218 covid positive cases in AP.Not even a single case was reported in Rayalaseema and Kurnool areas.
On the other hand, the World Health Organization says the Delta Plus variant is even more dangerous than the recent delta variant.
Experts say appropriate precautions should be taken and people should abide by Covid protocols to combat the third wave.
