Corona positivity rate is declining in Andhra Pradesh.There is a gradual decrease in the number of Covid positive cases being reported in Andhra Pradesh.
In the last 24 hours, 40,350 samples were tested across the state, and 540 people tested positive for Covid-19.The highest number of 120 cases were registered in Chittoor district and 111 Covid cases in Guntur district.
Less than ten cases were reported in Anantapur, Kurnool, Srikakulam and Vijayanagaram districts.
In addition to the latest figures, the number of positive cases across the state increased to 20,59,122.Of these, 20,38,248 have recovered.The highest number of 2,90,026 victims recovered in East Godavari district and 2,42,549 victims in Chittoor district.
557 people have recovered from Covid in the last 24 hours.Currently, there are 6,588 active covid cases in AP.In the past 24 hours, ten people have died in the state.With this, the death toll reached 14,286.
Three deaths were reported in the Prakasam district.Two deaths were reported in Nellore and the Chittoor districts.
One death was reported in each East Godavari, Kadapa and Krishna district.
The number of samples tested in AP reached 2,88,79,945, including 40,350 tests conducted in the state in the last 24 hours.
The state government conducts an average of 40,000 to 50,000 corona tests per day.
