Andhra Pradesh reports 1246 new covid positive cases in the last 24 hours.According to the health bulletin released by the state medical health department, there is a slight increase in the number of positive cases being reported in Andhra Pradesh.
With this, the number of people infected with the virus in Andhra Pradesh has reached 20,44,490.In the last 24 hours, ten people died in AP due to Covid-19.
With the figures in the latest reports, the total number of deaths due to the virus in AP reached 14,118.
In the past 24 hours, two covid victims died in the Krishna district, 2 in Chittoor, and one victim in each Nellore, Prakasam, East Godavari, Guntur, Srikakulam and Visakhapatnam districts.
On the other hand, 1,450 people recovered from the corona in the last 24 hours.This brings the total number of discharges in AP to 20,13,942.
The total number of tests conducted in the state has reached 2,79,80,792 as 55,323 samples have been tested in the last 24 hours.Currently, 13,535 people are being treated at various hospitals in AP.
Chittoor district has the highest number of Covid cases in AP.Chittoor has reported 207 covid positive cases.East Godavari stands second in the list with 167 covid positive cases in the last 24 hours.
