Andhra Pradesh High Court gave a shock to YCP rebel MP Raghurama Krishnamaraju.The High Court dismissed the bail petition filed on behalf of Raghurama Krishnamaraju.
The High Court erred in coming directly to the High court without going to the sessions court.The High court suggested Raghurama’s lawyer approach the sessions court for bail.
The arguments lasted for about 45 minutes in the High Court.The High Court did not agree with Raghurama arguments.
Raghurama’s lawyer said that Raghurama was suffering from a heart problem and he may get Covid.With this, the High Court issued orders to prosecute Raghurama abiding by the rules of covid.
However, the High Court clarified that it could not intervene in the bail petition in the present situation.
Raghurama Krishnaraju’s lawyer said that Raghurama approached the high court as he was arrested against the rules of the Supreme Court.
Raghuram Krishna Raju’s lawyer said that the CID had registered a case of conspiracy against Raghurama and it was not lawful for CID to arrest an MP without evidence.
Meanwhile, a house motion petition filed by Raghurama Krishnamaraju will be heard in the afternoon.
Raghurama Krishnamaraju filed a House Motion Petition on Friday challenging his arrest.It remains to be seen what the High court’s verdict will be.
