The AP High Court gave relief to Amara Raja Group.
Recently, the AP High Court has suspended the orders on the Amara Raja Batteries by the AP Pollution Control Board.
The APPCB ordered the industry to shut down.Whereas, the Amara Raja Company has challenged these orders in the AP High Court.
The Andhra Pradesh High Court had dismissed the orders issued by the APPCB.Also, the High court directed the authorities to restore power to the industry.
The High Court also directed the APPCB to file the report again.The court adjourned the hearing to June 28, 2021.
On the 1st of this month, the AP APPCB ordered the closure of Amara Raja industries in Chittoor district for violating APPCB regulations.On the same day, the APPCB wrote letters to the electricity department officials asking them to stop the power supply to the company.
There are manufacturing units at Tirupati, Karakambadi, and Noonegundlapalli in the Chittoor district.TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu has alleged that the YCP government has been biased against the business of its party leaders since it came to power in the state.
It is learned that the party is also criticizing its key leaders.
