Drugs smuggling has become a hot topic in Andhra Politics.Political leaders from ruling and opposition parties are alleging each other for drugs smuggling.
However, recently, Janasena Chief Pawan Kalyan has stated that Andhra Pradesh has become a narcotics hub.He incensed that the whole country was being affected by the cannabis being smuggled from the suburbs of Vizag.
Pawan Kalyan shared videos on Twitter of remarks made by Telangana police that cannabis was being supplied by the AP.Pawan Kalyan also said that he had received many complaints about the cannabis trade and drug mafia in AOB during his campaign in 2018.He incensed on the Andhra Pradesh state government with a series of tweets.
‘AP has become a hub of narcotics & filled with many drug smugglers at every level.It is having an impact on the whole country.Leaders who are in charge of the government are doing this intentionally,” Pawan tweeted.
Pawan Kalyan recalled that the campaign in 2018 was meant to understand the social and economic problems of the people of the state.At the time, Janasena Chief said that he had received several complaints about unemployment, illegal mining, cannabis smuggling and the cannabis mafia in the tribal areas along the Andhra-Orissa border.
