AP govt to challenge HC verdict on MANSAS Trust case in Supreme court

Andhra Pradesh Endowments Minister Vellampalli Srinivasa Rao has said that he will appeal to the Supreme Court against the High Court verdict in the MANSAS Trust case.Recently, the Andhra Pradesh High Court issued orders reappointing the former Union minister and TDP leader Ashok Gajapathiraju as the Chairman of MANSAS Trust.

Shortly, after the AP High court issued its verdict, former Chief Minister and TDP chief Chandrababu criticized the Jagan.He said that this is a big jolt to the Jagan Government.

To this end, Minister Velampally Srinivas responded to Chandrababu comments.Speaking to the media, at the CM’s camp office in Thadepalli, he said, “Irregularities were identified in the MANSAS Trust and action was taken by CM Jagan at that time.” He said that Jagan had done everything legally.He said that the YCP government will approach the Supreme court challenging the verdict of the Andhra Pradesh High Court.

In 2020, the YCP government removed Ashok Gajapathiraju and replaced Sanchaita Gajapathi Raju as the Chairman of MANSAS Trust.Along with this, also the Jagan government issued a GO appointing Sanchaita Gajapathiraju as a Board member of Simhachalaam Temple.
