AP Medical Health Chief Secretary AK Singhal said the government was working on Junior doctors’ demands.Speaking to the media, Singhal said 350 senior resident doctors were involved in corona duties.

He said the stipend for senior resident doctors would be increased from Rs 45,000 to Rs 70,000.The positive rate in AP was 13.02 per cent.

Singhal clarified that 443 tonnes of oxygen was consumed in the last 24 hours.

He revealed that more than 25 lakh people received their second dose of vaccine.Singhal said that over 50 lakh people in AP received their first dose of the corona vaccine.

He said that the AP government is giving high priority to vaccination to students leaving for abroad.

Meanwhile, corona cases in Andhra Pradesh have risen again today.

The number of cases has been declining over the last few days and has increased slightly today.According to the state medical health department, in the past 24 hours, 12,768 people in the AP have tested positive.

With this, the number of people infected with the virus in Andhra Pradesh has reached 17,17,156 so far.Yesterday, 98 people died due to this epidemic.This brings the death toll to 11,132 in AP.
