The Andhra Pradesh state government is organizing a mega vaccination drive across the Krishna district today.In the statement released by the state government, it said that they would vaccinate pregnant women, nursing mothers, teachers, nursing and sanitation staff workers.
Also, those who completed the prescribed period after their first dose will be vaccinated with the second dose.People eligible for this mega vaccination drive should contact their respective volunteers, medical staff and Asha workers.
DEO of Krishna district, Tahera Sultana said that this ‘mega vaccination’ drive would be carried out in all the secretariats in the Krishna district today.Also, speaking on this occasion, DEO Tahera Sultana asked all the teachers to get vaccinated before the reopening of the schools.
She directed the principals to make appropriate arrangements as the state government announced to reopen schools from August 16.
The teaching and non-teaching staff working in all schools under the district education department are advised to get vaccinated in the wake of the reopening of schools in Andhra Pradesh.Recently, the AP state government released the results of SSC and Intermediate students.
The mega vaccination drive is carrying out with 22,000 doses of the Covshield vaccine.
Officials made it clear that people coming to the vaccination centres must use a mask and abide by the Covid rules.
