AP govt allotted land for PV Sindhu Badminton Academy in Vizag

The Andhra Pradesh state government has allotted 2 acres of land to PV Sindhu Badminton Academy in Visakhapatnam.As part of this, the Visakhapatnam Rural Zone has issued key orders of handing over two acres of government land in the Chinagadili zone to PV Sindhu Badminton academy.

Revenue Department Chief Secretary V Usharani recently issued orders of transferring two acres out of the three acres belonging to the Department of Animal Husbandry in Survey Nos.72/11, 83/5, and 83/6 to the Department of Sports and Youth Affairs and one acre to the Department of Medical Health.

The Department of Sports and Youth Affairs has revealed that the two acres will be given to PV Sindhu Badminton Academy.The state government announced that the land will be handed over to the PV Sindhu Badminton Academy after submitting the academy registration certificate and IT returns for a period of three years as per the regulations.

On the other hand, PV Sindhu thanked Chief Minister Jaganmohan Reddy for allocating land for the construction of the Badminton academy.She said that there is no badminton academy in Visakhapatnam and that is why she has decided to set up an academy in Vizag with the highest level of infrastructure.
