Andhra Pradesh state DGP, Gautam Sawang, denied permission for Amaravati farmers to stage a protest named ‘Nyayasthanam to Devasthanam’.He said that there is a possibility of clashes and hatred due to the Maha Padayatra headed by the Amravati Conservation Committee under the name ‘Nyayasthanam to Devasthanam’.

AP DGP has announced that he has denied permission to prevent unfortunate incidents, riots and other issues.

In this context, recently, AP DGP penned a letter to Gadde Tirupati Rao, secretary of the Amravati Conservation Committee.

The letter said that the walkathon would pass through various villages and that the consequences there would lead to clashes, and then a security problem would arise in the area.He explained that this would lead to animosity among the people of the area who wanted the implementation of the three capitals.

Also, the letter said it would be difficult for the police to provide security for the 47-day-long walkathon.AP DGP mentioned in the letter that considering all these issues and the public interest, permission for the walkathon is being denied.

Recently, the Amravati Conservation Society has decided to make a walkathon to Tirumala to protest against the implementation of three capitals in AP.However, AP DGP denied permission for the walkathon.
