Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy will visit Vijayawada Kanaka Durga temple on Indrakeeladri on Tuesday, said the Endowment Department Minister Vellampalli Srinivas.
The minister revealed that AP CM YS Jagan would present silk robes to Goddess Durga on the Indrakeeladri on behalf of the AP state govt at 3 pm tomorrow.
As a part of Navaratri celebrations on Indrakeeladri, tomorrow will be celebrated as Moola Nakshatra Day, and CM Jagan would present silk robes to Goddess on this day.
The Endowments Department minister said that there was a possibility of a large influx of devotees on the occasion of Moola Nakshatra on Tuesday.However, on Sunday, around 50,000 devotees visited the temple on Indrakeeladri.
The Dussehra festivities reached its fifth day by Monday.
As part of the festivities, today, Goddess Durga is set to appear in two incarnations.The temple priests said that Goddess Annapurna appears to the devotees in the morning and Goddess Mahalakshmi in the evening.
On the other hand, today, AP CM Jagan left for Tirumala to present silk robes to Lord Sri Venkateswara as a part of Brahmotsavalu on behalf of the state government.
