AP CM YS Jagan inaugurates ‘Vanijya Utsav-2021’ in Vijayawada

Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy has launched the ‘Vanijya Utsav-2021’ program in Vijayawada aimed at doubling Andhra Pradesh’s trade exports.Later, CM Jagan visited the stalls set up at the Vanijya Utsav.

While inspecting the stalls, CM Jagan asked the officials for various details regarding the products.The AP Export Road Map Brochure was released by Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy.

Also, he launched an e-portal specifically for exports.

Speaking on this occasion, CM Jagan said that the government would provide full support to the industrialists.AP exports grew by 19.43 per cent in the last two years.In 2020-2021, Rs.1.23 lakh crore exports occurred in AP.AP will be the fourth largest exporter in 2020-2021, he said.

In the last two years, ten megaprojects were set up with Rs.20,390 crores, said AP govt.It is said to have employed 55,000 people in the state.AP is the only state implementing the Visakhapatnam-Chennai, Chennai-Bangalore and Hyderabad-Bangalore industrial corridors.

EDB plans to target the cheapest exports from AP.Exports from AP are currently being handled through 4 ports, officials said.Similarly, exports from AP stood at $ 16.8 billion.Officials said the measures were aimed at exporting goods worth $ 33.7 billion by 2030.
