During his 2019 AP Assembly Election campaign, then opposition leader YS Jagan announced that he would merge APSRTC with the government.
Going by his word, within months after coming into power, YS Jagan has set up a committee to look after APSRTC merger in the AP Government.
There was a time when TS RTC employees called for a strike, and targeted TS CM KCR and hailed the decision of merging RTC taken by YS Jagan.Even then, TS CM KCR remained unmoved.
Going by the latest developments, YS Jagan has failed to keep his promises.The proposal of merging RTC in the government by the employees is because they can get the facilities on par with other government employees.
However, to everyone’s surprise, YS Jagan did merge RTC but made sure APSRTC employees are not on par with other government employees.Only now the APSRTC employees are realizing what YS Jagan has done to them.
Meanwhile, political analysts opined that YS Jagan is making the moves on KCR’s direction.
