Anushka shows support for Indian women’s cricket team captain after T20 World Cup loss

Anushka Sharma, the Bollywood actress and wife of cricketer Virat Kohli, showed support for the Indian womens cricket team captain, Harmanpreet Kaur, after a viral video showed her wearing sunglasses to hide her tears following Indias defeat against Australia in the Womens T20 World Cup semi-finals.

Anushka shared a news article mentioning Harmanpreet Kaurs actions, saying she was always proud of the captain and the team, and shared a video of former Indian skipper Anjum Chopra consoling Harmanpreet when she broke down after the loss.

Harmanpreet explained to the presenter that she wore the sunglasses because she did not want her fans to see her crying.She promised to improve the teams performance and not let the nation down again.
