Mallu beauty Anu Emmanuel who made her Telugu debut with the romantic movie ‘Majnu’, was last seen sharing the screen space with Naga Chaitanya in ‘Shailaja Reddy Alludu’.She will next be seen playing the female lead in Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas’s upcoming movie ‘Alludu Adhurs’.
Going into the story, Anu Emmanuel was apparently approached by Allu Aravind’s Aha team for a web series that is going be directed by a debut director.Sources suggest that the makers felt she would be ideal for the role and initiated talks with the young heroine.
The hot news is that Anu is said to be charging Rs.2 lakhs for each episode to be shot.The series will have around 10 episodes and paying 20 Lakhs to Anu seems too much for the makers.This is a fancy quote for a young actress who is presently in a lean phase of her career.
The makers are yet to take the final call on casting Anu Emmanuel as both sides are still in negotiations over the remuneration.Let us hope that the deal gets finalized and this project can bring in more opportunities for Anu in the digital world as well.
