Los Angeles, Aug 12 : Actress Anne Heche was under the influence of cocaine and possibly Fentanyl instead of alcohol when she was at the scene of the incident. According to aceshowbiz.com, Los Angeles Police Department sources told TMZ that the 53-year old’s blood test results showed positive results for both substances.
However, insiders have said that fentanyl could be given to her in the hospital to help ease her pain.
Therefore, further testing is required to determine if she had fentanyl prior to when she drove her blue Mini Cooper into a Mar Vista home on Friday.
The house was engulfed in flames which resulted in the Emmy award-winning actress suffering burns due to the incident.She was later intubated while being treated at a hospital.
“The vehicle was traveling to the east on Preston Way at a high speed of speed, when it entered the intersection of T between Preston Way and Walgrove Ave and then ran across the street and struck with the house in the 1700 block of Walgrove,” a Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson said in an announcement.
“The vehicle caught fire and exploded in flames, and the driver was taken to an emergency room via LAFD.”
Concerning the condition of Heche A spokesperson for the hospital stated: “Over the weekend a representative said that Anne was in stable condition, however that information was not accurate.She has always been in critical condition after falling into a coma after the incident.”
“At this moment, she is in critical condition.She suffers a serious lung injury that requires mechanical ventilation, as well as burns that need surgical treatment,” the spokesperson added.”She is currently receiving treatment in the Grossman Burn Center.”
