Due to rise in covid cases the Andhra Pradesh government according to the orders of the Jagan government, the night curfew regulations came into force on Monday night.But Sankranthi festival is coming in another two days.
Making some key changes in that decision the government issued another order.
The AP government has changed the implementation of night curfew in the wake of the Sankranthi festival.
Night curfew is going to be enforced after sankranthi.The government has decided to enforce the night curfew from the 18th to end of this month.
Minister Alla Nani said the implementation of the curfew was postponed to avoid any inconvenience to the people as large numbers of people from the towns were flocking to the villages during the festival.
The minister said the government was ready to deal effectively with the arrival of the third wave.
He said people in public places would be fined Rs 100 if they did not wear masks.People are urged to wear mandatory masks.
Minister Alla Nani urged the people to co-operate with the government as covid cases are in boom.
