Andhra Pradesh is facing frequent gas leakages from the past four months.

Another gas leakage happened in Bandapalli village of Chittoor district on Thursday night, and nearly 25 people have hospitalized according to the local sources.The district collector rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control.

Collector said that 15 people have hospitalized and they are safe according to the doctors.The condition of 3 people is critical and might be shifted to Tirupati, if necessary.

Further, he said, the leakage occurred at Hatson company milk process unit around at 5 pm on Thursday and the officials are enquiring about the cause of gas leakage.If it is negligence, the collector assured of severe action against the management.

The sources say the dairy is owned by a Chennai-based company.

This is the fourth gas leak incident in a row after Ammonia Gas Leak at SPY Agro Industries in Kurnool, benzimidazole gas leak in Vizag, and the most tragic LG polymers in Vizag.
