Mumbai, Nov 29, : Indie music artist Nikitaa is currently dominating the charts with her newly released album ‘High Priestess.
The album, which was completed over a year ago, features 12 tracks.

It combines RnB, Pop, and some Hip-Hop inspirations with darker, bolder and more sensual sensibilities.

Amaal Mallik, the music director, is well-known for hits such as ‘Airlift’ and ‘Kapoor and Sons’, Badrinath ki Dalhaniya’ and ‘Golmaal 4’.She also praised her debut album.Amaal Mallik praised her work and said, “High Priestess” and that the entire album and song are a powerful and masterful display by Pop RnB by a young talented artist Nikitaa.”

He said, “The music on her album has the right mix of Indian influence in its notes that will get respected by the Indian audience.It’s a soundscape that even global audiences can wrap their ears around.”

The music composer praised her determination and said, “I’ve heard her talk about the journey of this record that she created through the lockdown last yea and it’s truly admirable for an indie artist her age to be capable of writing, recording, producing and composing most of the music and put her honest self out there to the world.High Priestess and Clutch are my top three picks.

Nikitaa spoke about the journey of her debut album.She said that she produced most of the album “High Priestess” on her own in Mumbai during the lockdowns in 2020.
