The number of positive corona cases and the death toll is continuously increasing in the state of Andhra Pradesh.“We are taking measures to overcome problems like shortage of oxygen and beds for the corona patients,” said AP Health Minister Alla Nani.Recently, he conducted a review meeting with authorities and doctors at Tirupati SV Varsity in the wake of Corona in the Chittoor district.
Alla Nani explained that the central government was giving only 500 tonnes of oxygen to the state of which 40 tonnes of oxygen was being distributed only for the Chittoor district.
In the review meeting, Alla Nani said that the AP govt is planning to increase the number of Covid care centers to reduce the surge in the hospitals.The minister clarified that the AP govt is planning to set up a Covid Care Center in every constituency in the Chittoor district.
Alla Nani said that in the review meeting they have discussed the availability of beds, oxygen, and Remdesivir in SVIMS and Rua hospitals.He said that the process of vaccination was going on smoothly in the state.
Along with Deputy CM Alla Nani, Ministers Narayanaswamy and Peddireddy Ramachandrareddy participated in the review meeting.
