Jaipur : , All Rajasthani ministers under the Ashok Gehlot-led Cabinet in Rajasthan were forced to resign by the Congress High Command on Saturday night ahead of major cabinet reshuffles on Sunday. At 4 pm, the swearing in ceremony for new ministers will be held.
All ministers were called earlier at 2:45 p.m.Sunday to attend the headquarters of the state Congress, where they will be taken to Raj Bhavan.
Receipts from the Ministers to be Resigned are being received and sent to Governor.
By phone, the new MLAs that will be serving as ministers have been informed.
All ministers at the cabinet meeting that took place on Saturday night at the CM Residence were asked to resign.
Ministers who are to be fired will be taken into office by their successors.
The oath will only be administered to new people.
Sources say that around twelve new ministers can swear the oath.
There will likely be a major reshuffle of ministers’ portfolios.
The portfolios of almost all ministers will change, with the exception of a handful of ministers.Sources say that the portfolios of ministers were also decided by the Congress High Command.
This decision will take place after swearing-in ceremonies.
