Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt, known for her brilliant performances, revealed that her journey in acting actually began during her school days.Alia, along with co-star Ranveer Singh and director Karan Johar, engaged with students for the ‘India’s International Movement to Unite Nations (IIMUN) Back To School’ series, where they shared their school memories.
Alia expressed how her school days were filled with some of her fondest memories.She enjoyed spending time with friends by the water cooler and occasionally skipping classes.
It was during this time that her passion for acting took root, as she actively participated in theater and various competitions.Returning to school for the event brought back nostalgic feelings, and she admitted feeling a bit nervous around her teachers and principal, especially considering her inherently mischievous nature.
When asked about Karan Johar’s role in Bollywood, whether he was more like Amitabh Bachchan’s character in Mohabbatein or Miss Braganza from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai as a ‘principal,’ Alia responded that Karan is unique and cannot be compared to any existing character.She felt that a new character should be created to capture his distinct personality and style.
The interactive session took place over Zoom, reaching out to more than 50,000 students from 100 cities.It marked the first collaboration between Ranveer Singh and Karan Johar.
The movie, titled “Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani,” also stars veteran actors Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi in prominent roles.Fans can anticipate its theatrical release on July 28th.
