Mumbai 5 August : Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar cried after hearing a surprising audio message from his sister Alka Bhatia on the reality show Superstar Singer 2. Akshay who is currently working on promoting his upcoming film ‘Raksha bandhan’, was an exclusive guest on the singing reality show Superstar Singer 2.
A promo for the show was posted via the channel’s Instagram page which shows Akshay was seen wiping away his tears as he listened to his sister’s messages.
The video shows an contestant singing Kishore Kumar’s iconic brother-sister track “Phoolon Ka Taron”.

In a sarcastic tone, calling him ‘Raju’ she declares in Punjabi: “I just thought while talking with someone else that the Rakhi festival of Rakhi occurs on August 11th.You were there for me all the time both whether good or bad.From father to brother to friend you filled every role I needed.Thanks for everything.”
An overwhelmed Akshay can be being heard to say: “We used to live in an apartment.After the appearance of the goddess, our lives were transformed.There is no greater bond than one with the sister.”
“Raksha bandhan” is set to be released on August 11.
