Akhil Akkineni, who has been here and there these days, is spending some quality time with media for the promotions of his debut, Akhil – The Power of Jua, The lad of the industry says that he is very much interested in doing bilinguals and he is eyeing Bollywood as a long term goal.
“I want to consolidate first in Telugu because it’s been home territory for my family for almost 80 years.I can’t disrespect that.I want to make a name here first and once I am accepted by the Telugu audience, I’ll venture out.I would definitely love to do Hindi films but I’ll choose films carefully” Says Akhil.
This 21 years old actor even has Tamil market in his mind, speaking on this he states “Even Tamil movies are an option for me in terms of bilinguals.
Personally, I believe that reaching out to a larger audience is good for business also.You must treat films not just as art but also as a business because there are large numbers (financial) involved.It’s always good to expand your market and this is one of my long-term goals.”
