On the eve of Sankranthi, most films are making big announcements or releasing in the theatres.Now joining the race is ‘Most Eligible Bachelor’ featuring Akhil Akkineni, Pooja Hegde in the lead roles which is one of the much-awaited Telugu films.
It is produced under the banner of GA2 Pictures and directed by ‘Bommarillu’ fame Bhaskar.The makers had planned to release the film this Sankranti on an OTT platform.
However, the release has been postponed now due to unmentioned reasons and now they have announced that it will be releasing in the summer of 2021.
The makers of MEB have released a new Sankranti special poster of the film featuring Pooja Hegde and Akhil Akkineni.The tweet read, “Our #MostEligibleBachelor & Bachelorette wishes you all a very happy Sankranthi.” One can see Pooja and Akhil in all smiles as she holds on to him while the Akkineni hero rocked a red shirt over a grey t-shirt in the poster, the AVLP star actress sported a multi-colored sweater.‘Most Eligible Bachelor’ marks the first time collaboration between Akhil and Pooja and their chemistry is already creating a lot of buzz.In the teaser, released last year, Pooja was seen smirking in the presence of the hero which gave us a glimpse of her character in the film. With music by Gopi Sundar, the film has cinematography by Pradeep Varma.Avinash Kolla is the production designer.
The likes of Aamani and Murali Sharma will be seen in solid roles in this family entertainer.The film’s editing is by Marthand K Venkatesh.
Meanwhile, there are reports that Nagarjuna Akkineni wants ‘Most Eligible Bachelor’ makers to re-shoot a few scenes in the second half.The actor wants his son Akhil’s film to become a huge hit since his last films failed to create any magic at the box office.
