The Department issued a health alert asking those with heart disease or lung disease and older people, as well as children, to limit prolonged exertion.
It was determined that the PM2.5 levels were below the “very poor” category.
The SAFAR forecast predicts that pollution levels will worsen in the coming hours.PM10 is likely to be 356, and PM2.5 220.
A AQI of between 50 and 50 is considered a good score, 51 to 100 a satisfactory score, 101 to 200 a moderate score, 101 and 200 satisfactory, 201 and 300 sloppy, 301 and 400 sour, 301 and 400 severe, and then 401, and 500 between 500 and 600 is considered severe.
