Bilaspur (Himachal Pradesh), Dec 5, : The AIIMS at Bilaspur in Himachal Pradesh will be fully functional within six month, BJP President Jagatprakash Nadda stated on Sunday. Nadda addressed the Covid-19 vaccination workers at the felicitation ceremony to mark the achievement of cent per cent vaccination in his hometown.
He said that the establishment of AIIMS outside Delhi was Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision.
In Delhi, the first AIIMS was founded in 1960.
Twenty-two AIIMS were established in the country, and all of this was possible because of the Prime Minister, he stated.
Nadda stated that the Prime Minister laid the foundation stone for this institution three years ago and that it would have been completed by Nadda a year earlier if the pandemic hadn’t hampered its construction.
Former Union Health Minister stated that the state received a Rs 500 crore satellite centre of the PGI Chandigarh, Una.
He stated that even the most advanced countries like the US have not been able to combat the pandemic.However, the Prime Minister Modi’s nation of 130 million people has managed to stop the pandemic through the largest vaccination campaign in the world.
Nadda stated that 127 million vaccinations had been administered in the country, and that vaccine is being distributed to 50 countries.
Nadda also congratulated doctors, nurses, and frontline workers for this remarkable feat.It was because of their dedication and commitment that the state became a leader in vaccination.
Nadda stated that the state has become a leader in education, health and social services, complementing the Jai Ram Thakur-led BJP state government.
He stated that this was possible because of the dedication of Thakur, who has worked tirelessly to make the state a role model for others.
He also gave credit for the state’s development to successive BJP governments.He stated that Kol Dam, Atal Tunnel, and Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana were also gifts from former Prime Minister Atal Bhari Vajpayee.
It was his vision and dream that were realized by Prime Minister Modi.
Nadda, the Union Minister for Health Mansukh Mandaviya and Chief Minister Thakur, as well as Anurag Thakur, Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting, dedicated the OPD block to AIIMS Kothipura, Bilaspur.
Rekha from Kullu was the first OPD patient at the hospital.
Mandaviya stated that AIIMS was indeed the greatest gift the Union government had given to the state.
He stated that more than 123 million vaccine doses are being prepared in India and are even being exported.
He stated that all of this was possible because of the faith shown by the Prime Minister in its scientists and doctors, as well as its entrepreneurs.
He stated that Himachal Pradesh is a model for other states in the country, having achieved the unique distinction of a cent percent vaccination.
The Chief Minister addressed the function and stated that this was a historic occasion because it marked a significant milestone in providing the best health services to the citizens.
With the opening of the OPD facility at AIIMS Bilaspur, the goal of 100 per cent for the second dose of Covid vaccine has been achieved.
He stated that now the state will be able to get superspecialty treatment at AIIMS Bilaspur.
Thakur stated that the state was ready to tackle any third wave of coronavirus.For this reason, the hospital capacity has increased from 3,804 beds to 8,765 and will be increased to 12,000.
Anurag Thakur, the Union Minister, also belongs to the State and congratulated him and the people on achieving the unique goal of a cent percent second dose vaccination for the target population of more than 53.77 million.
He stated that the country was able to successfully manage the pandemic because of the timely and appropriate decisions taken by the Prime Minister.He stated that India was a role model for all other countries during the difficult times of the pandemic.
