New Delhi, Aug 24 : On Monday, with the Chief Justice of India-designated U.U.Lalit who will take over the post and the Supreme Court will list 25 Constitution bench cases which are pending before the court.A notice states that issues will be brought before the the courts on Monday for directions, which include the filing of common compilations and filing of brief written submissions and a tentative indication with regards to the time frame to present their argument by counsel.
The following are the scheduled cases to be decided on Monday The case will be a challenge to the validity of the Constitution (One Hundred and Third Amendment) Act, 2019, which allowed reservations for sections that are economically weaker and granted minority status to Sikhs in Punjab on WhatsApp’s privacy policy and users’ rights to privacy under Article 21.A request in relation with the security of the internet and also a direction towards the government on how to safeguard personal data and the power of the apex court under Article 142 of the Constitution to dissolve the marriage of two parties who have agreed to it, and whether , based on the Article 161 of the Constitution or the executive adopt a policy to grant Remission without having to present records before the Governor, etc.,
