Adivi Sesh who has proven his test for strong content-based films is now doing a pan-Indian movie titled ‘Major’ where the actor is playing the role of Major Sandeep Unni Krishnan who has lost his life in the attack of 26/11 Mumbai terrorist acts.The film is directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka of ‘Goodachari’ fame and has Saiee Manjrekar, Sobhita Dhulipala, Prakash Raj, Revathi, and Murali Sharma playing crucial roles. Now the latest news is that the makers have announced that the teaser launch event which was originally planned for 28th March 2021, has now been postponed for the time being due to the rising Covid-19 cases in the country and the passing away of director Sashi Kiran Tikka’s father Shri.Suryanarayana.
The makers also informed that they will soon announce the new date for the teaser launch.
Sony Pictures India, Mahesh Babu’s GMB Entertainments, and A+S Movies banners are jointly bankrolling the film which is being made as a bilingual in Hindi and Telugu.‘Major’ will hit the theatres on 2nd July 2021.Adivi Sesh was last seen playing the lead role in ‘Evaru’ which was released in 2019.
