Surendran, president of the state BJP, demanded last week that the Pinarayi Vijayan government take tough action against people who defame Gen Rawat on social media.
While the nation mourns the loss of Rawat, and other deceased, Rashmitha Ramachandran, the pleader, made a derogatory comment that was “anti-national”, however, no action was taken, despite numerous complaints.
After meeting with Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan here, Kurup was asked by media if any actions will be taken against the government pleader.
“Of course there will be a natural action, but at the moment am unable to spell out the nature of action,” said Kurup.
Surendran had asked Vijayan to immediately remove her from the list of government pleaders and wished to find out if the Vijayan government also has the same view of that of the lady advocate.
