Mumbai, Nov 28, 2008 : Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan revealed how Ajay devgn was persuaded to lend his vocals for the title track of their film “Bol Bachchan” by Himesh Reshammiya. Abhishek will be joined by his co-star Chitrangada Singh in an episode of singing reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’.
Abhishek shared a story about Reshammiya that he had never heard of during the shoot.
The actor shared how he went to the musician’s studio to record a song once and was surprised at how the music director was capable of convincing Ajay to sing a song in ‘Bol Bachchan’ which was released in 2012.
Abhishek stated that Ajay Devgn was a serious man and that it was a huge task to get him to record a song.I clearly recall going to Himesh’s studio to record a song when I saw Ajay in a corner with a sad face.
He continued, “I was taken aback by his actions and went on to question him why he was sitting there.” He resentfully spoke of how Himesh Rehammiya had asked Rohit Shetty to record the song with him.Imagine the pressure I felt recording for Himesh Reshammiya, and Ajay Devgn.
