A record number of corona positive cases have been reported across the country in the past 24 hours.However, in the state of Telangana, the number of corona cases has slightly decreased.
The number dropped to 4,000 cases on Sunday, with more than 5,000 cases registered on Saturday.The state registered 4,009 fresh corona-positive cases between 8 pm on Saturday and 8 pm on Sunday.
Around 3,55,433 people across the state were affected by the corona, according to a bulletin released by the state medical and health department.
On Sunday, 1,878 victims recovered from the Corona pandemic and were discharged.
On the other hand, 14 more people have died with the virus in the past 24 hours.A total of 1,838 people have died so far due to corona and 3,14,441 victims have recovered and been discharged from hospitals.
Currently, there are 39,154 active cases in the state.
The highest number of newly registered positive cases was 705 cases in GHMC, 363 cases in Medchal Malkajgiri district, 360 cases in Nizamabad, 336 cases in Rangareddy district and 264 cases in Sangareddy.
Meanwhile, the state medical health department said that Corona tests were conducted on 83,089 people in the state on Sunday.
