Covid-19 cases in Telangana’s Wanaparthy district surge as a postman becomes a super spreader.
As much as 102 Covid-19 cases have registered for the last 10 days in Wanaparthy district of Telangana.
The people of Chinnambavi zone, who are the most affected, are scared over the sudden rise in Covid-19 cases.Finally, they are shocked to know the real reason.
The infection started when a postman from the head office came to distribute the pension to the eligible.Unknowingly the postman has been suffering from Coronavirus and spread it to tens of beneficiaries.
Later the virus reportedly escalated to 102 people from those beneficiaries.
On knowing the news, the villagers went into self-lockdown, and the district officials have arranged a large testing campaign to identify the cases.
Till now, the Telangana state has recorded 1,11,688 positive cases and 780 deaths.August 26th has been the biggest day of high cases in Telangana with 3,018 Covid-19 cases and 10 causalities.
