A massive fire broke out in Thirumala Tirupati Devasthanam.On Tuesday morning, a fire broke out in the shops near the Srivari aasthana mandapa.
The locals informed the fire brigade and the firefighters immediately rushed to the spot and tried to bring the situation under control.It is yet to be known how the fire broke out.A total of six shops appear to have been burned during the incident.Owners of the shops said that the fire caused property damage.
On the other hand, the effect of the corona is visible in the Tirumala.The number of devotees visiting Tirumala is reducing day by day in the wake of the corona.
As well as, the income of the hundi is also declining.The effect of corona can be witnessed more in the month of April compared to March.
While 16,27,801 people visited Srivastava in March 2021 and 9,05,578 people visited the temple in April 2021.The hundi income in March was Rs 104.37 crore whereas, in April, the hundi income was only Rs 62.62 crore.The number of devotees visiting Tirumala has declined enormously in April.
