Akividu police filed a case against Nara Lokesh for violating Covid-19 guidelines.
A police case has filed on TDP national general secretary and MLC Nara Lokesh for causing a mishap while driving a tractor at Siddhapuram.
Lokesh was inspecting flood-hit areas and assessing damaged crops in West Godavari district at the time of the accident.Reportedly, he narrowly escaped the danger because of Undi MLA Mantena Ramaraju’s presence of mind.
While Lokesh was on the driving seat, the tractor has lost the balance and heading into the Upputeru canal in Akividu at Siddhapuram.Immediately, Undi MLA Mantena Ramaraju has reacted quickly and controlled the tractor avoiding any unfortunate incidents.
Accordingly, Lokesh escaped from danger, and his guards and TDP officials have taken a sigh of relief.
However, it did not go well with the Akividu police.
They reportedly charged Lokesh for violating the Covid-19 guidelines.According to the reports, a case has filed under sections 279, 184 and 54A of the Epidemic Act.TDP leaders allege this is an act by the ruling government to suppress the voice of opposition.
Nara Lokesh is visiting West Godavari district since a few days and assessing the flood-affected areas while visiting the victims.
